I have two words that come to mind to describe my experience with Texas Boot Camp: TURNING POINT. After 15 years of being severely overweight and trying numerous yo-yo diets accompanied with immeasurable frustration, I accepted the challenge to try this class and now here I am addicted! At first it was just a tough but necessary workout, but now it’s a lifestyle. For the first time in 15 years, I am actually succeeding at seeing my weight loss and health goals comes to fruition. The support system and accountability that I receive from the instruction here is amazing, not to mention the awesome total body workouts. I’m 56 pounds down, and on the road to a healthier, leaner me! Texas Boot Camp has truly been a God send; I feel like I’m getting my life back.

Texas Boot Camp is AWESOME! I have been an athlete for most of my life. A few years ago, I decided to take a break and do nothing. After a year and a half off I gained some weight, especially FAT! I decided to give Texas Bootcamp a try at my office. The last few sessions I have been able to build my strength and endurance by leaps and bounds (literally). I started by attending twice a week with 4 lb weights and now I attend 4 to 5 times a week with 6 lb weights. This last session I lost 2 inches off my waist and hips and I can fit into jeans that I could not wear last year. Oh... and I'm losing that FAT! With positive and encouraging tips provided by Texas Boot Camp, I’ve developed better eating habits and have great energy to make it through the day. I also sleep much better each night. I feel so healthy now! I can’t imagine life without Texas Boot Camp!
I come from a relatively overweight family, but I was an athlete in high school so I thought I was immune to weight gain.
I was in relatively good shape when I moved to Dallas from Colorado two and a half years ago, but before I knew it 30 lbs came rushing on…almost immediately. I had a hard time acclimating to my new life in Dallas and didn’t realize the funk I was falling into. I was starting to get depressed and crabby, I wasn’t sleeping well, and just generally felt like I was spiraling out of control. That was when I discovered Stevie and Texas Boot Camp.
The idea of “boot camp” kind of intimidated me at first, but Stevie had modifications for the exercises I struggled with. She was so positive and encouraging; she pushed me to be better. It seemed she knew what I was capable of more than I did. I started noticing changes. My clothes were fitting looser and after five sessions I have lost 35 lbs., I am down 3 sizes, and I am at my high school weight/physique.
I have had people ask me after I reach my fitness goals, will I stop doing TBC? The answer to that question is “No”. I am a Texas Boot Camper for life! What keeps me coming back? After four sessions I have never done the same workout twice. I could never come up with these great workouts on my own, and I definitely would not push myself this hard on my own. I can go to as many classes as I want. Every trainer is genuine and wants to see every individual succeed. I learn so much from every trainer every time I attend class. At Texas Boot Camp it’s not just about an hour workout, it’s about educating boot campers to help them reach their fitness potential.
After all that, I finally feel like I have control over my life again. I sleep and eat better, which ultimately makes me feel better. In addition, as I reach new fitness goals I look to challenge myself in new ways, by picking up new workouts, trying out old workouts, etc. Thanks to Stevie and Texas Boot Camp, I am in the best shape I have been in ten years!

Over two years ago, I decided to make a lifestyle change which included exercise and healthier eating. After months of blood, sweat, tears, running and boot camps it seemed that I had reached a fitness plateau. Fourteen months ago, I started personal training with DP. The specifically tailored personal attention has held me to a very high level of accountability, enabled me to lose an additional 17 pounds and nearly 2% of body fat in addition to improving my distance running times substantially. I am continually challenged with the workouts he leads and am able to redefine my fitness goals in much shorter periods of time than ever before.

Texas Boot Camp has changed my life! I am in a class that meets twice a week at my work, Southwest Airlines Headquarters. After having my first child, I gained 75 lbs and nothing seemed to help me lose the weight, until I joined Texas Boot Camp. These bi-weekly classes were convenient, kept me accountable, and made me feel empowered again! I was always doing for others but am FINALLY doing something for myself and I feel great about it!

My name is Luann and I have been working out in the regular boot camp class, 3 times a week for the past 6 months. My instructors, Stevie and Jason, have taught and motivated me to exercise and push myself in ways I never dreamed I was capable. I have lost 25 lbs. and dropped 3 sizes. I just turned 40 and am proud to say I am healthier & stronger than I have ever been and I now love to work out! Thank You TBC!!! :)

After having my first baby, I wanted to get back into shape. I started with the Beginner Boot Camp class 2 times a week and worked my way up to the regular class, which met 3 times a week. I've found my own support and accountability system at Texas Boot Camp, as well as eased back into my pre-pregnancy jeans! My trainer challenges me to push harder than I would push myself if I was on my own, which is what I need. Because every workout is unique, TBC is a training program that is easy to stick to. My instructor sets me up to succeed.

For the very first time in 33 years, I have a regular workout that I LOVE! Each class at our SWA Headquarters is challenging and different; Jason keeps us on our toes! I have been in Texas Boot Camp for over eight months now and I look forward to class just as much, if not more, than when I first started. The fact that I have lost 10 lbs and 3 pant sizes doesn't hurt either!

After giving birth to my third child in four years, I was 50 pounds overweight and totally out of shape. I knew it was time to change my lifestyle and get healthy. Signing up for the Beginner Boot Camp is the best thing I have ever done for myself! I was nervous at the beginning, but my instructor, Mel, pushed me to do my best and encouraged me along the way. The work-outs motivated me to change my eating habits and take better care of myself in general. At the end of the four-week session, I had lost 14 pounds and 3 inches off my waist. The best thing is that I have more energy and a better attitude. I still have a long way to go, but thanks to Texas Boot Camp I know I can… and will achieve my goals!

I am currently in the Texas Boot Camp class that meets 3 times a week in the mornings, in McKinney. My very favorite aspect of this company is the different dynamics! The workouts are never the same. In the 8 months that I have been taking these classes, there have never been two identical workouts. The instructors are very knowledgeable about the exercises and muscles being utilized, nutrition,… and they challenge you to continue pushing yourself. It is a tough workout but the results that you achieve if you stick with it are great! All the people that attend my class are very welcoming, encouraging, and want to see every other classmate succeed! These three workouts a week will make you a stronger runner, build your stamina, and make you an overall happier person.

This is my third session of participating in Boot Camp; it's not easy, but I’m definitely getting results! If you are reading this and thinking maybe you can’t do these workouts, or shouldn't do these workouts...ask yourself if you’re finally fed up of not changing, and are ready to buckle down and get results!?! If you want to reach your personal weight-loss and health goals, this class is for you! Stop thinking about it and do it! I did and as a result, my weight, blood pressure and blood sugar are all down. Texas Boot Camp has turned my doctor into a believer, as well!!

I am in a Texas Boot Camp class that meets three times a week and it has changed my life! Not only have I lost inches in all areas of my body, but the energy that I feel throughout the week has tripled since I started the training! I cannot image any other workout program challenging me to push myself harder each day or giving me more rewarding results than Texas Boot Camp.

Texas Boot Camp in The Woodlands is awesome! I have always exercised 4 to 5 times a week and thought I was in pretty good shape but Kyle's Boot Camp takes it to another level! I am in my late 30’s and have found this workout to be the first thing I have ever done that truly reshaped my body. It is so cool to have definition and new muscles in all those formerly “soft -spots”. The best things about Texas Boot Camp are the intensity, variety and group camaraderie. With Kyle’s help (and a little friendly competition), I am pushed harder than I ever have been pushed on my own. Every workout is a new experience and Kyle is constantly finding new ways to get us stronger and fitter. Texas Boot Camp is super challenging, incredibly effective and a ton of fun.

In May 2008, I made a commitment to myself to take care of ME and in turn, take better care of my family. A mother of 4 (under 8 years old), I had resisted to giving ALL of my time to being a mother and wife and could not find the time to give to myself. It seemed the right thing to do….after all it was the life I chose, the path I chose. However, I learned and realized if I actually made time for ME, my children & my husband would benefit as well. I decided to try Texas Boot Camp w/Kyle. Waking up at 4:45a seemed the last thing I needed, based on “I have no time”. However, working out and returning home at 6:45a when my kids are just waking up for school has been incredible. I am D-O-N-E!! That’s right, I have gotten in MY time and I am then ready to be ON as mom and wife all day long. I have taken nothing away from them, I haven’t added to their time away from me, it is wonderful!!
Having been an avid athlete throughout high school and college, I longed for that RUSH and adrenaline that lifting weights and strong cardio workouts give you. No need for planning a day of weights, a day of cardio, one day upper body, one day legs, one day back, …it is all done for you w/TBC. In fact, Kyle is your personal trainer and he gets it all in. You get the cardio, the toning, the variety, everyday, each class. You never know what each class will be, but you can be guaranteed it will be different than the day before, and it will challenge you and push you to do more.
In 8 short months, having done TBC in correlation with changing my diet, I have lost 36lbs and 8% body fat. I have finally lost all my “baby weight x4 and more” and found the body that belonged to ME before I gave it to motherhood. I have dropped 4 sizes and am back to my high school weight. The feeling of accomplishment FAR exceeds the hour or 2 of sleep lose each morning!!
The flexibility of going Mon-Sat, and nearly 3 different classes/day is one of the best things about TBC. It allows you to work around your life and your schedule. It is far more than accommodating. I am very grateful Kyle has brought TBC to The Woodlands. He has not only changed/pushed me physically, but in turn has helped me emotionally and spiritually grow. I have formed wonderful new friendships and have truly become a “boot camp addict”. I do try to attend class 4-5x week…I look forward to seeing friends, I long for that RUSH, I love the challenge/competition of reaching new goals, and there is nothing better than seeing the sun rise and listening to the birds sing, all in the middle of MY time!!

It has been about 8 months since I began working out with Texas Boot Camp and wow – how my life has changed! My third child was just 12 weeks old when I began and after a difficult pregnancy, including almost 5 months of bed rest, I was heavier and more out of shape than I had ever been. Eager to get healthier and feel better, I joined Stevie’s beginner class. Because I had been off my feet for so long, I was extremely nervous and worried that I would not be able to make it through the 45-minute workout. I have to admit that it was very difficult but with Stevie’s motivation and inspiration, I did make it and was excited to continue. Early on, I could hardly run, barely make it through just a few sit-ups and push-ups and listened to my watch almost constantly beep throughout the class telling me my heart rate was too high. As I began to feel stronger, I moved to the regular boot camp with Jason and also participated in the baby class with Jackie. It felt so good to see myself improve – I could run without having to stop, do push-ups on my toes and my heart was getting stronger so my watched stopped beeping so much! Stevie’s nutritional knowledge and advice have also done wonders for my body as well. Since joining Texas Boot Camp, I have lost almost 60 pounds and dropped 4 sizes. I am now just 14 pounds away from my goal and feel better than I have in years. I cannot say enough about Stevie, Jason and Jackie! They are always available when I have a question or concern and each in their own way provide great motivation for me - so much so, that I look forward to and get excited about every workout! Thank you Texas Boot Camp!!

This past September was the 6-year anniversary of my mother's sudden, and unexpected death. This is when my personal downward spiral began. Before that, I was always known as the "workout queen" because I knew from growing up in sports that if I did not work out... I would quickly gain weight. I tried working out for a little bit afterwards to take my mind off my grief, but if just did not sustain me. I was doing it alone, and that was the problem. In the Fall of 2006, my husband and I found out that we could not have kids on our own. This of course added to my depression, and after a short time period, we decided to try getting pregnant with medications as a last and final resort before in-vetro. After five months of me sinking in to an even deeper depression because of all the hormones I was on, we decided to take a break from thinking about children. It was after this time that my husband and I had a talk, and I realized how much it was scaring him that I was so unhealthy and trying to get pregnant. I realized I needed a workout partner, and a workout group to get me out of my slump, and ready to carry a baby. Once I found my workout partner (my neighbor who was extremely motivated because of an upcoming wedding), we found our workout group. We were taking one of our nightly walks around the park in our neighborhood and noticed Stevie's signs for Texas Boot Camp and the group of people working out. My neighbor called and got us signed up. It is very easy for me to remember how hard that first class was to get through, but what I remember most is how happy my husband was to see me when I came home that evening. Here I am today, 10 months later, and I am a full 3 sizes smaller than when I began. I love to hear daily from my husband that he is so happy to have his wife back mentally, and physically, along with all the gals at work telling me it is time again to buy new pants because mine are too big!! My healthy body will be starting in-vetro tomorrow and I am thrilled!! To Stevie and DP: You have created something wonderful here, and I am truly blessed to know you both. Thank you for your vision of Texas Boot Camp!
